Knife-Sharpening Workshop

  • Community Kitchen Pittsburgh 107 Flowers Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15207 United States (map)

Are your kitchen knives feeling a little dull? Did you know that dull knives are the reason for a lot of kitchen accidents?

Grab a few of your kitchen knives and get ready to bring them to CKPgh because we're hosting knife-sharpening workshop!

Our Butchery Manager, Chris, will demonstrate how to properly sharpen and care for your kitchen knives.

The class will include basic instruction in sharpening and edge maintenance, as well as proper steeling techniques. Then you'll have some hands-on time as you take what Chris has taught you so you can leave with razor-sharp knives.

Reserve your spot now and get ready to elevate your cooking game!

Things to note:

  • This workshop is limited to 15 attendees.

  • Please be sure to wrap/store your knives to safely transport them to and from our facility.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to attend.

  • You may bring up to three (3) kitchen knives with blades of 1"-12" in length.

  • The number of total attendees will affect how many knives you'll have time to sharpen. Please keep in mind that you may not be able to sharpen all of the knives you bring.

With your paid workshop fee, you'll receive $10 OFF your purchase from our retail freezer at the end of the workshop. It could be a great way to put your freshly-sharpened knives to use.

This event will take place at our facility in Hazelwood on Wednesday, March 27th, beginning at 5:30pm ET.

Reserve your spot here.
