Hometown Homegrown (butchery)

  • Heinz History Center 1212 Smallman Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 United States (map)

We’ll be at this year’s Hometown Homegrown event at the Heinz History Center with our Unified Fields Butchery!

You’ll have the opportunity to learn about our program as well as sample and purchase the locally-sourced and ethically-farmed meats that we are so proud to cut and have available for you to purchase.

At some point during the event, our Butchery team member will also be conducting a knife-sharpening demo for attendees.

From the Hometown Homegrown website:
”Enjoy more than 40 local food and drink vendors sharing delicious  samples– plus activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the museum.

Come sample and take home some of Pittsburgh's favorite foods from iconic names like Isaly's, Wholey's, Pittsburgh Pickle, and so many more.  Find a new favorite or two from some of the best "newbies" on the Pittsburgh food scene.

Watch live cooking demonstrations from local culinary personalities in the kitchen classroom, and learn more about Western Pennsylvania’s culinary history throughout five-floors of food-filled fun for the whole family.

Tickets go on sale September 18. Don’t miss out!”
